School Hours and Term Dates

Students are not allowed at school before 8.30am or after 3.15pm. Before and After School care is available for those families who have commitments that require children to be at school outside of these hours.

8.55am	Bell – school starts
10.40am	Morning interval
11.00am	Resume classes
12.30pm	Supervised lunch eating
12.40pm	Lunch break
1.25pm	Bell – classes resume
3.00pm	School ends

Students arriving at school after 8.55am must get a late slip from the office.

2017 Term Dates

Term 1
School starts - February 1st and 2nd - 'Getting to know you meetings' for all parents, children and teachers
February 3rd - Classes start for whole school
Waitangi Day holiday - Monday 6 February
End of term - Thursday 13 April

Term 2
Starts - Monday 1 May
Queens birthday holiday - Monday 5 June
End of term - Friday 7 July

Term 3
Starts - Monday 24 July
End of term - Friday 29 September

Term 4
Starts - Monday 16 October
Labour Day holiday - Monday 23 October
School finishes - Friday 15 December

2018 Term Dates

These dates for the 2018 school year have been approved by our Board of Trustees :

February 5 and 7 - Teachers, students and families “getting to know you” days.
The first full school day will be Thursday February 8.
Term 1 ends April 13
Term 2 is April 30 to July 6
Term 3 is July 23 to September 28
Term 4 15 October to December 19
