Our School

Welcome to Whangaparaoa School.

We are a community school, with a focus on family and providing the very best for our children. “Together we inspire learning” is our mission statement and we enjoy fantastic parental support.

We are a Decile 9, Hibiscus Coast school located 40 minutes from Auckland. Classes are from Year 1 to 6, providing for students from 5 to 11 years. Our school is focused on ensuring students receive the very best learning opportunities to prepare them for their future.
We believe in developing the whole child and we offer a wide range of sporting, cultural and performing arts opportunities to extend our children. The presence of beautiful, safe beaches close to the school provides an excellent resource for the school to place a strong emphasis on water based activities.
