Gala 2010

GALA 2010

It was Gala time again at Whangaparaoa Primary.  Parents, teachers and children organized a popular day out for all the family and a warm welcome the whole community that attended to support our growing school community - with an estimated 4000 people.

We've had it on good authority the weather will be fine that day - and it was marvelous!

The children sang, danced, bounced, slid and played. The flags flew. Idol was won. Games were lost and pizes scored.  Teachers and firemen were dunked. Lots of yummy food was consumed and thousands of cold drinks gulped.  200 cookies were decorated and 800 toffee apples licked.  Dame Edna and Mr Bean mingled with our guests.  All in all - IT WAS A GREAT DAY!

Check out the pictures and if you would like to feedback any ideas, suggestions and thoughts on Gala Day please email Jana  on jana.seibt@gmail.com .
