Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to Term 4, lots of exciting things are planned. On Monday we welcomed another twenty four students to our Whangaparaoa Learning Community, so that adds to the excitement. As a staff we have welcomed back Casarah Chapman to teach our new class of 5 year olds, and we welcome Leanne Tarrant who is our learning assistant in L1.
Short and Sweet
- Applications for out of zone enrolments close tomorrow October 20.
- Sustainability is our schoolwide inquiry this term. Teachers have planned lots of great practical learning
around this topic.
- Our final day this term is Friday 15 December. School will close at 12.30pm.
- Weather depending, we are encouraging our families to bring a picnic and come together as a school community
to share some Xmas spirit. This will be on Monday 9 December from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.
- School badminton and table tennis champs have started this week.
- Vertical Learning Communities will be offering some different passions for children to enjoy this term.
