Dear Parents and Students,
CROSS COUNTRY There is always a lot to be proud of on cross country day. Today we saw some
fantastic running talent at every year level. We also saw many students being the best they could be and giving
cross country their best effort. We also saw some students who probably dislike running, and yet they went
out and showed great determination to get to the finish. Well done to everyone who gave cross country a go
and finished the race !
Thanks to Mr Steel and the staff team for your organisation, thanks PFA for the treats at the finish, and of
course thank you parents for turning up and cheering the children on - we all appreciate your amazing support.
More photos next week....
PAID UNION MEETING
As much as we know this is a big inconvenience, it is time to take action to ensure work conditions and pay
will support quality people being attracted to the teaching profession, and ultimately teaching your children.
The union meeting is on Tuesday 19 June 2018. Children will need to be picked up from their classes at 1.00pm.
(note change of time).Thank you for your anticipated support.
DECREASING OUR LITTER FOOTPRINT As a school, we are asking students to take any plastic and
lunch wrappings home with them. Some classes have already been doing this and we are now all joining in. We
would like to cut down the litter in our environment. It may also help parents see what their child has, or
has not, eaten in their day.
Have a great week everyone Kevin
