GALA RESULT

This years Gala raised a huge $30,500 for our school!!!

The Gala is a fun event for our kids and families, but these are really important funds for the running of Whangaparaoa Primary. We think the Gala achieved both goals fabulously!

The Parents & Friends Association would like to thank the coordinators, volunteers, teachers, staff, kids and of course all parents who contributed in some way to make a fantastic day.

THANKS PFA

Saturday was a fantastic community day. We all witnessed and saw the tremendous amount of work you all did to make this day happen. There was a huge amount of sacrifice to our school and on behalf of our Board of Trustees, staff, students and parents THANK YOU for being so generous with your work and time.

We also saw the strength of our wonderful community as you turned out in large numbers to support this occasion. Thank you and we hope you thoroughly enjoyed the day. A big thank you also to our staff who gave up their time to jump in and support this special event.

GOOD LUCK FOR THE TRYATHLON
All the best to our students who are competing in the Weetbix Tryathlon this weekend. Well done for giving it a go.

LAST DAY OF TERM ONE
Last day of this term is Thursday 13 April. School finishes at the normal time of 3.00pm.

Term 2 starts on Monday 1 May at 8.55am.

YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE.......... PRODUCTION AND CAMPS
We are asking for parent feedback on the above activities at our school. Our aim is to ensure that children with these interests and talents are catered for as they move through the school. Below is a link view the ideas staff have for the next two years. These experiences are always reliant on being lucky enough to have the personnel to achieve the plans.

Please note: these options are on top of programmes that are already happening. Classes already cater for performing arts needs in the room, on Passion Fridays, and teachers already plan for experiences outside the classroom when doing their unit of inquiry.

Have a great week everyone!
